Parties for Children

All kids love body art!  The age group largely determines what type of body art your child will be most interested in.  Here are some helpful hints to keep in mind.

For little ones aged 2 to 4 years, we suggest temporary transfer tattoos from paper for their cheeks or hands.  They are perfect for toddlers who are shy, don't like strangers touching their face, or can't sit still long.  We also add every child’s favorite – glitter!

For children aged 5 to 10 years, we highly recommend face painting.  Small kids are “moving canvases” so non-staining, water-soluble paints are your safest bet.  We excel in the fantasy, Cirque du Soleil style that amazes and delights both children and parents.  Hair wraps are also popular with girls in this age group and last up to 1 year!

Older children aged 10 and over are usually more fond of airbrush tattoos.  They are created with alcohol-based paint so they can be enjoyed for up to 4 days or removed instantly with rubbing alcohol.  They are popular with both boys and girls.

Glitter tattoos are also appropriate for the "tweenie" age group.  They last a surprising 10 days, making your child a hit for at least a week after their birthday!

Henna is not recommended for any children under 10 years because the paste can stain clothes on contact before it dries.  This takes around 20 minutes - a long time for an active child to sit still!
